Today is my Mom's 63rd birthday, so Happy Birthday. If you like here were born in January, than the Garnet is your birthstone. Garnet in its traditional color, is a brick red color. But did you know that Garnet actually comes in every color, except blue. It is a very durable gemstone, and certain Garnets are very expensive, and rare. Probably the most expensive would be the Demantoid Garnet, which is said to have more fire than a diamond. Garnets are natural in their color, and are not known to be treated.
