It is a sterling silver chevron style filigree ring, with a 6mmx4mm pear shape orange garnet. This could be another orange gemstone, but I am almost positive it is a garnet. Garnet is the birth stone for January, and most January babies do not realize their gemstone comes in other colors than red. The fact is Garnet comes in almost all colors.
