Rustic Easter Rabbit Zentangle Wood Burned Wall Art

I simply love wood burning, or pyrography which is the official term. My mother gave me a whole bunch of wood slices, and I could not wait to do something with them. This is a hand drawn rabbit silhouette with zentangle doodle patterns, drawn then wood burned into the rabbit design. It is signed and dated. I do not trace, or transfer my drawings, they are all hand drawn. This piece is available in my Etsy store.

My Prasiolite emerald cut ring sold, the other day. I am so happy some lucky lady will be wearing that beauty soon.

Finished Fall Motif Painted Door

I finally got to finish the back door of the house. I did this all in acrylics and is completely free hand. Though I have to say there is a lot to be said for lightly penciling in your items. For example, the trees, leaves and bunny, I have done lots of times and am very comfortable with. However, the squirrel and the deer, I have never done and they look slightly awkward. I still love it and am happy to share with all of you. Did you know that Folk Art by definition is art work done by people who have no art training. I guess I qualify as a Folk Artist.

4 Upcycled Jars For Easter Baskets/Candles

These are four jars of varying sizes, that will have candles included with them, but could be used as a small Easter basket first. These are jars that I have cleaned and sterilized, then painted on with acrylic paints. There are four colors of bunnies, white, brown, sable, and lavender. The lavender one is not yet listed in my store, but it will be in the next day or so. The white bunnies have a basket of jelly beans, no cross. The others all have one bunny and then a cross adorned with flowers on the other side of the jar. Check them out in my Etsy store by clicking the widget above.
