Make it Monday: Love Birds

My final Make it Monday project for January, and with a bird theme, are these adorable lovebirds wood burned onto a wooden sleigh. It is actually not 100% completed as I want to add some flowers, or hearts, or both, as at the top. I will have to see what my craft store has to offer this week. This could actually count for February theme too, as it will be love. I have not yet decided if this will go in my Ebay or Etsy store.

The other two items shown have nothing to do with birds, but were projects in the works. The box will be a made to order item in my Etsy store. The one shown was created for my son's homeschool graduation coming up. That is the theme, and logo I designed for him for his graduation. It is a gift, card, and money box that will be for memories later on. He asked me to stain it, so I will.

The blanket, is by far my most favorite baby blanket ever. The yarn was on sale, so I could only get two skeins. So, I made it in baby blanket size. It is a good size baby blanket though, 40 inch by 40 inch, so could be lap, sofa, etc blanket. I will be doing this again in larger sizes, with other yarn. I just love this design. It will probably go in my Ebay store in next couple of days. I have a partial skein of this lovely yarn left, and I need to decide what to do with it.

Rustic Easter Rabbit Zentangle Wood Burned Wall Art

I simply love wood burning, or pyrography which is the official term. My mother gave me a whole bunch of wood slices, and I could not wait to do something with them. This is a hand drawn rabbit silhouette with zentangle doodle patterns, drawn then wood burned into the rabbit design. It is signed and dated. I do not trace, or transfer my drawings, they are all hand drawn. This piece is available in my Etsy store.

My Prasiolite emerald cut ring sold, the other day. I am so happy some lucky lady will be wearing that beauty soon.

Rustic Wood Burned Wedding Picture Frame

Wedding season is upon us once again. I started wood burning picture frames, at the end of last year. I did one for Halloween, this lovely wedding keepsake frame, and one for Easter. I love woodburning, though it is still quite new to me. This would make a lovely wedding gift for anyone getting married, or even as an anniversary gift. For full details, check it out in my Etsy store.

I finally got the right white yarn, to finish my newest idea. I can't tell you what it is, you will have to wait and see. I ordered some new ring settings, and they should be here any day now. So, new jewelry items, yay! I would really love to do some new resin pieces, but until the ones I already have in inventory start to sell, that just doesn't make sense. I did not get to paint at all last week, or do anything crafty, really. But, that all changes today. I should have lots of free time to be crafty. My garden needs work too.

New for Valentine's Day Wood Burned Square Block Multi Picture Frame

I have been working feverishly to get some items finished for Valentine's Day, or could be for weddings or anniversaries as well. Below is a wooden block style multi picture frame. It holds four pictures, and I wood burned the top and each side. The top is Calla Lilies. Each side has a different word, and flowers, along with hearts. All hand drawn, then wood burned. This can be dated and personalized. Visit my Etsy store, to see all the other pictures, and possibly to purchase.

Rustic Wood Burned Wall or Table Art Ocean Scence with Palm Trees Water Sailboat and Birds Etsy

My newest Etsy store item is this beautiful rustic wood burned ocean art piece. I hand draw all my wood burned pieces, I do not trace them. Then, I wood burn them. I am still new to wood burning, but it is a wonderful addition to my love of art. This can be hung on a wall, or used as table art. It is signed and dated. This is available for purchase in my Etsy store. Check out all my wood burned items. If you want something special, message me on Etsy, and I will see if I can do it for you. Don't forget to check out my weekly sale item. It is never too early to start Christmas shopping. A little bit at a time won't break the bank in December. Plus, I offer layaway! I have some cute new Halloween themed items to share later this week. One has a nurse theme. Be sure and check back to see those, on Friday.   Hopefully I will get my next peacock drawn, and painted soon.  We start back to homeschooling next Tuesday, so I have been doing a lot of planning for that.

Wood Burned Halloween Picture Frame with A Bat, Spider, and Ghost

This is my second wood burned picture frame, and my third over all wood burning project. The first one had a wedding/anniversary theme, this one is for Halloween. I left a space at the bottom of the frame to have a date wood burned in, or a name. This will be available in my Etsy shop, on Friday July 17, 2015. From here on out, or until I decide otherwise, all relisted items, and new items will be listed on the weekends. So, be sure to favorite my shop, or this blog, to keep up with new items. I also will do custom requests. Starting today, I am starting a new feature in my shop. Every day a new item will be slashed in price, and featured on all my social network feeds. Today, is a Monarch butterfly painting. It is still available, as of this post, at the sale price of $12.50 with free USA shipping. Just do a search for butterfly, and you will find it. Heads up for tomorrow, it will be a Ruby piece of jewelry.  Ruby is the birthstone for July.  Click here to visit my Etsy shop.
