I am trying hard to get all 14 Christmas in July sale items up to this blog. This is item #2. This is a finished counted cross stitch, done by me back in t he 9o's when I worked night shift. Then I had it sewn onto the most beautiful fabric and the trim is all holly berries. This has never been displayed, nor washed. I put it in a ziploc bag and it has been stored in a trunk ever since completion. I completely forgot about it until recently when I was going through old bins that hadn't been gone through in years. It is in perfect condition, may need a washing, on gentle and I would recommend in one of those protective laundry bags, lie flat to dry. Hours and hours of work goes into a counted cross stitch piece. I wish I could see well enough to still do it, I love it so much. This is not cheap, and would be for a collector most likely. Check it out in my Etsy shop.
Change is good! I have reopened a new Etsy Pattern store, called the Pink Flamingo. I have a ton of inventory to list, and could take a while. I am looking at some other new creative endeavors that have more to do with teaching. My kids are growing up, and it is time to expand my wings. Join me in this new creative adventure!

Theme Friday: Halloween
I think I might have to stop the Theme Fridays for a bit. Now that we are back in homeschool mode, I just don't seem to have the time to dedicate to it. I am doing my first vendor fair, next Sat, and am excited by that. Then, the following Sat, my mom and I are going to start a monthly garage sale/craft sale, where we sell garage sale items and our handmade items too. It seems to make more sense to use my garage than to open a shop somewhere and pay rent and utilities fees. We will be doing it on one Sat a month. I hope it does well.
The theme this week, is Halloween or Fall. I have three awesome items to share with you. You can go to each Etsy shop, by clicking the corresponding link. First is a European style Halloween bracelet, next is a counted cross stitch Witch and cat table runner, and finally is a cute orange and black crochet baby witch hat. How cute are all these?
