Day 7 Flash Sale: Pink and White European Bead Bracelet Watch

For some reason my image will not upload.   Today, my sale is for a beautiful pink and white flower European style bead bracelet watch.  It is only $14.99 until 9 PM tonight.  You can purchase it either in my Etsy store, or my Ecrater store.  I only have one.

I finished on pair of slippers for the kids, and almost have the second pair done.  Just one more pair to go, for me.  Slippers are not that hard, but since I do not follow a pattern, it was a little more challenging.  I think I have it down now.  I will be sharing them, when they are all done.

Theme Friday: Halloween

I think I might have to stop the Theme Fridays for a bit. Now that we are back in homeschool mode, I just don't seem to have the time to dedicate to it. I am doing my first vendor fair, next Sat, and am excited by that. Then, the following Sat, my mom and I are going to start a monthly garage sale/craft sale, where we sell garage sale items and our handmade items too. It seems to make more sense to use my garage than to open a shop somewhere and pay rent and utilities fees. We will be doing it on one Sat a month. I hope it does well. The theme this week, is Halloween or Fall. I have three awesome items to share with you. You can go to each Etsy shop, by clicking the corresponding link. First is a European style Halloween bracelet, next is a counted cross stitch Witch and cat table runner, and finally is a cute orange and black crochet baby witch hat. How cute are all these?

Wire Wrapped Gemstone Angel Ornaments

These are so hard to get good pictures of. I just finished two of these adorable Angel ornaments last night. I have been looking at several different ways to make angel ornaments, using supplies I already have, that were left over from other projects. Since I had no luck, I decided to just work with what I had and come up with my own. I love the one with the green wings the best. Those green acrylic, I think they are acrylic, are just right for what I wanted. The body is a pear shaped, or tear drop shaped, White Magnesite gemstone, sometimes referred to as White Buffalo Turquoise. I then used a faux pear and a bead stopper as the halo. Then you just have to put it all together. I found that a very specific type of headpin works best to make the angel wings stay in place. The one with the wooden wings, was much more difficult to put together and is not as tightly wrapped as the other. I will be making more of these, so I need to either make my own headpins or find the ones I want. I still have a few left, so can whip up a few more soon. These are adorable and would make the nicest gifts for friends, teachers, or relatives even. They will be available in my Etsy store, once I get the final touches done on them. What do you think? I also painted white bengal tigers on some wooden beads and created a bangle bracelet.  That is not yet shown, but will be soon.  It is very hard to  hand paint on beads, lol!  Very tedious and difficult work.  Also working on a crochet dog Halloween costume.  It is so cute!

My New Theme Friday Etsy Finds

On my Facebook page, each week, I would do a Theme Friday post. Anyone who entered an item to fit the theme got in my Etsy Treasury on Saturday. I have been doing that for about a year now, and now I am bored with it, very bored. So, I thought I would use the power of blogging and social media to help boost Theme Friday items. The result is each member that submits an item to fit the theme will get it shared on my personal FB profile, Tweeted, Pinned, favorite on Etsy, and then each Saturday shared on this blog. Since I use traffic exchange to help with exposure to my blogs, this should help each item get lots of exposure. I only had two entries this week, plus mine of course. Check them out and visit each item in their respective stores. You never know you might find something you can not live without. This weeks theme was, Mother's Day Gifts 20 dollars or under.   The first item is mine, and it is on Clearance.  Be sure to check out all my Clearance items.  This is a new section in my store to hopefully get some inventory moving a bit faster.  All are less than what I paid to make the item including supplies and time.  Here is the link to the first item https://www.etsy.com/listing/50557952/clearance-raspberry-pink-rhodolite?  Grr I have no idea why I can not write right next to the picture.  Anyway the second candle is a soy candle.  If your mom loves candles check it out, awesome price too https://www.etsy.com/listing/130263156/cashmere-silk-downy-type-woodwick?ref=usr_faveitems   The third item is a lovely pink button and rose bracelet, again an awesome price.  Since they are all under 20 dollars they are all pretty awesome.  Here is the link for the bracelet https://www.etsy.com/listing/129606514/shades-of-pink-flower-button-bracelet?ref=usr_faveitems  If you would like to join in the Theme Friday topic, and get your items shown lots of love, click the large widget to the left that will lead you to my page, then just like the page and remember to check each Friday.
