4th of July Sale in My Store the Pink Flamingo

Happy July 1st!  So my new Etsy Pattern store, the Pink Flamingo is having it's first sale.  Some items have free shipping.  All but two are marked down 20%, if you are interested in one of the other two that the sale price is not showing I will refund money after purchase.  Sale runs from today until July 7th.  Run over and check it out by clicking here

I have not started my crochet market bag yet, but now that my CEU's for my nursing license are done I can concentrate on some other things.  I really need to just do a few of them a month, and I won't get stuck doing them all at the end.  Good grief!

Christmas in July Sale Vintage Pooh Hanging Christmas Stockings Cross Stitch Table Cloth

I am trying hard to get all 14 Christmas in July sale items up to this blog. This is item #2. This is a finished counted cross stitch, done by me back in t he 9o's when I worked night shift. Then I had it sewn onto the most beautiful fabric and the trim is all holly berries. This has never been displayed, nor washed. I put it in a ziploc bag and it has been stored in a trunk ever since completion. I completely forgot about it until recently when I was going through old bins that hadn't been gone through in years. It is in perfect condition, may need a washing, on gentle and I would recommend in one of those protective laundry bags, lie flat to dry. Hours and hours of work goes into a counted cross stitch piece. I wish I could see well enough to still do it, I love it so much. This is not cheap, and would be for a collector most likely. Check it out in my Etsy shop.

June Sale Vintage Barbie Marzipan Etsy

Every month I run a new sale in my Etsy shop. There are 19 items on sale for the month of June. Each is marked down 40%. I am going to share a new sale item, hopefully every day in June, until they are all posted, and in between those some of my Art available on Redbubble. Blogging every day is not something I have been good at sticking to, but I will try. Some days may be shorter than others, lol. See the description for the Barbie below, and click here, to visit my Etsy store to purchase.

This is a vintage Barbie doll from 1998. I am not a doll expert, so please ask all questions about condition before you buy. This doll appears to be complete to me. I have looked at other listings, and researched the doll. She is in excellent condition. I don't believe she was ever played with, because her clothes and hair are in wonderful condition. May have been displayed. She was definitely removed from the box. Her brush, and shoes are in the box, and it appears the invitation is as well.

Vintage Leonard Silver Co. Silver Ice Bucket Server Thrift Store Find

About a week ago, my daughter and I went into the Haven Hospice Thrift Store, in Chiefland, FL. I go in every couple of months just to see what they might have of interest. I found a treasure trove of things on this trip. My favorite, however, was this vintage Leonard Silver Co. silver ice bucket. It was very tarnished, so I could not see any of the markings, or writing on the piece. But, it was heavy, real heavy, so I figured it was real nice. After I cleaned it, and looked up the company, it is most likely brass, with sterling silver plating. I could not find this actually piece, so maybe it is rare too. It is now sitting in my nice, new, China cabinet, which was actually given to me by someone who just wanted to get rid of it. How nice! I found some other odds and ends, as well, but this was my favorite, and I only paid 9 dollars for it.

Vintage Roman Soldier Cameo Under Glass

Do you see this very cool cameo. I have had this for a number of years. I purchased it with a lot of Vintage jewelry, and thought it might have some value so I held onto it. It appears to be gold toned, and is a brooch/pendant. It is heavy, and the cameo itself is a Roman Soldier, with irridescent background. It is under glass, not plastic. Someone said it could be an Intaglio, but I can not find any markings on it. If anyone knows, anything about this type of vintage cameo, I would love to hear from you.

I love Cameos, New and Vintage

I really love Cameos, new and old. The ring shown, my mother made for me for my birthday. It is a heavy silver, with a lilac and white cameo. I love it, and wear it often. The other two shown, I have had in my collection for many years. I think they are Intaglios but I am not sure. If anyone has any idea how to identify them, I would love to know. They do not appear to have any markings. The Brooch is of a Roman Soldier under glass, it is very colorful and 3D. The square cabachons are also Roman Soliders, and are 3D. I would love to know some more information on these, they are fascinating.
