Bugs and Spiders OH My!

This week I am featuring handmade items that are bugs or spiders. With Halloween right around the corner, spiders, and bugs are a must. Starting next week, I will featuring Fall, Autumn, Harvest and Thanksgiving themes, then Christmas after that. First from Zizzybob is this adorable quilt applique of ladybugs.  Gotta love ladybugs!

Ladies Love Grilling Too Crochet Purple and Pink Summer Apron

These are not time consuming to make, so if you want one in different color schemes, contact me for a made to order item. This was part of the August theme for Team Support and Promote. This is crocheted in Amethyst Purple and beautiful pink. I love these aprons for grilling, cooking, gardening, and as a rehab apron for those recovering from injuries. It fits me nicely, with extra tie, and I am a size 12. If you need a larger size, just ask. These are completely washable, I would lie flat to dry, as with any crochet item. I am hoping to get one more item created, before the August theme thread runs out. This item can be purchased in my Etsy store.

I Created A New Etsy Team: Traffic Lovers Through Social Networking

I love the Etsy teams that I already am a member of.  Some of them I am very active with, and others not so much.  One of my frustrations is most Etsians do not like to promote off of Etsy.  Hearting and re hearting all the time really is not a valid marketing strategy.  So, I looked for a group that does social networking.  I even joined one, thinking awesome!  Well after I went through and added everyone to my social networks, I realized the group is not active.  So, being frustrated I started my own group.  Anyone can join this group, as long as you agree to be active, and promote off of Etsy.  The thread rules will be clearly laid out.  If you would like to join my new Etsy group, here is the link https://www.etsy.com/teams/22218/traffic-lovers-through-social-networking

Treasury Time for Team Support and Promote White Gold

I have been super busy trying to finish up our homeschool portfolios, that I have not been blogging so much. I have created a bunch of new stuff, including two recipes with cherries that I got off of Pinterest. I promise to share everything soon. I am part of a great team on Etsy, Team Support and Promote. All About Blogspot Monthly Blogger Challenge: Spring

This is the very first team challenge for the Etsy team, All About Blogspot. I am not sure how many will join in this first time, but hopefully a few will. I made the theme Spring for obvious reasons. Since I am constantly creating new things, at least every few days I hope, I wasn't sure which pieces I would share for the challenge. I decided to go with my newest creations, little girl headbands. Back in January I started to make resin pieces. My very first pour was a whole bunch of cute pieces. But, after I made them I was not sure what I would do with them. So, I listed them in my Etsy store, as cabochons for jewelry making. As they got close to expiring, I got a clever idea. I decided to make headbands with a flower, and the center of the flower would be one of these cute resin pieces. So far, I have four done, and will hopefully get one done today, before I head out the door for a homeschool play date. The two shown are a cute irridescent baby tiger cub, and an adorable puppy in a peppermint cupcake. I have tons of cute stickers, and can take custom orders for just about anything you might want. Lilac Mother and Child Silhouette Hand Painted Gift Bag

I love it when I get a couple of days to just be creative. I try to work on a project at least every few days, but to have some time to just be creative, ooh I love it.


 Before I get to the bag, make sure you check back in a few days. I was asked to do a promotion post for a website that I think is so cool. I am so excited to be doing the feature. I got the sample of products in the mail, on Saturday, and pictures have been taken. Now I just have to research everything about the website, and I will be ready to share. This is my best silhouette yet, and I think her face need to just be a little rounder, maybe, lol. It is hard to paint lips on a silhouette, I will have you know.
