4th of July Sale in My Store the Pink Flamingo

Happy July 1st!  So my new Etsy Pattern store, the Pink Flamingo is having it's first sale.  Some items have free shipping.  All but two are marked down 20%, if you are interested in one of the other two that the sale price is not showing I will refund money after purchase.  Sale runs from today until July 7th.  Run over and check it out by clicking here

I have not started my crochet market bag yet, but now that my CEU's for my nursing license are done I can concentrate on some other things.  I really need to just do a few of them a month, and I won't get stuck doing them all at the end.  Good grief!

Treasury Time for Team Support and Promote White Gold

I have been super busy trying to finish up our homeschool portfolios, that I have not been blogging so much. I have created a bunch of new stuff, including two recipes with cherries that I got off of Pinterest. I promise to share everything soon. I am part of a great team on Etsy, Team Support and Promote. I am one of the leaders, and I get featured in a lot of treasuries. This one is one of my favorites. I love the color scheme she chose, and you can see my Padparadscha earrings, and all the other great items by visiting the treasury page. Just click and go.

My Custom Made Wedding Anniversary, Mother's Day, and Birthday Gift all in one

When I saw this ring, from Etsy seller, Stones and Gold, I just had to have it. I contacted the seller to see if they would do a layaway plan with me, and if the ring could be made in a 4 1/2. They said yes to both. So, I put it on layaway, and it just came today. I am so very pleased with this, Pink Tourmaline and Diamond ring, in white gold. I have made my own wedding bands in the past, but never diamonds. Diamonds are hard to get, grade, and buy in my opinion, plus to find a white gold setting in my size, well it would all be not worth the work to me to do it. The Pink Tourmaline has awesome color, and a perfect size for me, about 1/2 carat. The diamonds are clear and white, and sparkling. I am very pleased, and excited to show it off.

White Gold Blue Zircon Earrings

If you were born in the month of December, then you probably know your birthstone is Blue Zircon. You are very lucky. Blue Zircon is one of the loveliest and very collectible blue gemstones. It is fairly expensive as well. You can substitute Blue Topaz, which many people do, due to it being much more affordable to Zircon. Check out the lovely earrings below. Wouldn't these make a lovely gift for a December baby?

Blue Diamond and Pink Sapphire Band Ring

This ring is Blue Diamonds, and a pink color change Sapphire gemstone. The blue diamonds are 2mm rounds, and the sapphire is a 2.5mm round. They are set in 10k yellow gold band ring. It is a size 4 1/2. I showed it with my white gold diamond wedding band, to see how it looked. I actually very much like it with my Emerald solitaire that is yellow gold, not pictured yet. Because the blue diamonds also can have a green hue to them, it looks lovely with the Emerald. This lovely ring will stay in my personal collection, and interchange with my traditional wedding set. I love colored gemstones, and blue diamonds are my favorite. Though they are very expensive. Each blue diamond cost 5 dollars each, even at this small size. Imagine a 1ct with nice color, and clarity would cost, jeesh.
