This is way too hard, for me. I have so many ideas that I want to work on. I did get a bunch of my pendants turned into necklaces, sold a pair of heart earrings on Ebay, and created the item below. I am always trying to think of ways to upcycle, recycle or reuse items. I have painted garden solar lights, made candy jars, and other cool items. Well, I had an idea to make a cat cave. While I was thinking about it, I wanted something that would stay somewhat stiff, so kitty could come and go as it wanted. Then, I realized by laundry soap jug was a nice big size. I made the black and white cocoon to go around the soap jug, and you see the results. I don't have a real cat, lol. These would be great for any cat, kitten, puppy, or as an outside shelter for stray cats to keep warm and safe. I am currently making a red one, with white ruffle trim, so it will look like a flower cave. Check it out in my Etsy store.
Change is good! I have reopened a new Etsy Pattern store, called the Pink Flamingo. I have a ton of inventory to list, and could take a while. I am looking at some other new creative endeavors that have more to do with teaching. My kids are growing up, and it is time to expand my wings. Join me in this new creative adventure!

Poinsettia Doodle Tangle Art Pencil Drawing Black and White
I am really pleased with how this Tangle Doodle came out. I actually had started to draw this, a few weeks ago, when I was drawing poinsettias on the wood slice. I set it aside, and forgot about it. Last week, I came across it again, and finished it. It is black and white, all done completely in pencil. Drawn on water color thick paper, because I love that paper. It is thick and sturdy. I do not like my Art tablet drawing paper. It just seems so flimsy. This Poinsettia Tangle Doodle Drawing is available in my Etsy store. I am currently working on a Tangle Doodle Turkey. Hope to have it finished very soon. I am hoping for an optical illusion look. We will see.

Sold My First Painting How Exciting!
I just had my very first sale of one of my paintings. I have been painting for two years, and I am improving every time. My Panda Bear painting sold early this morning. My kids want me to do another one, because they like it, lol. I have never done a repeat painting, but I will try.
On a less exciting note, I finally bought two molds to make resin bracelets. I only had a little bit of resin left, so I decided to make two bangles today. I was already able to pop the smaller one, and I put the embeds in wrong, lol. I am so disappointed, but I am sure I can figure out something to do with it. I will share them both when I can get the other one out of the mold.

Making Resin Jewelry!
I was so excited to get my resin and one mold for Christmas. I have ordered a larger heart and some smaller heart molds. My first set of items, one mold with many openings makes a lot of pieces and shapes, came out really pretty good. This resin is awesome. It is clear and looks like glass. These are the only things listed in my Etsy store so far, and still need to go in Ecrater store. The butterfly keychain is my favorite. Then there are two heart cabochons. One has a pink flower embedded in it, the other has flat back pearls, pink on the outside and one blue one in the center. These are for wire wrapping or using them as the buyer would like to use them. Last is a Three Dancing Ladies cameo pendant. The cameo is black with white accents, and was embedded into the resin with a very tiny amount of glitter. I am not thrilled with the glitter, but maybe if I use it on the second layer, rather than the first, I will like it more. Also, some of these are quite thick and for jewelry I think thinner might be better. I will have to decide ahead of time what I will do with them so I know if I should make chunky or thin. I have many more pieces to share, once I have pictures and they are listed. I really enjoyed making the resin pieces. It is a several day process, and while this first set is affordable, I could see where they could get expensive depending on the time you put into it, and what you embed in them. I want a bangle mold, and a ring mold, but they can wait until I have a little bit more experience under my belt.
I had my first sale of the new year, and it was an awesome sale. I don't share the sale item, until I know the buyer is happy and the sale is complete. Happy New Year! Happy crafting and jewelry making.

It Doesn't Matter If It's Black or White
This week, I am excited to say, I had four participants in my Theme Friday Facebook Challenge. I do a new theme each Friday, and if you want to join in just like my page and wait for Friday. This week the theme was, wait for it, Black and White. I got a nice selection of items to share with you. The first is the acrylic Panda Bear painting, perfect for the animal lover or child bedroom decor. Next are the cutest polymer clay Ghost Hair Pins. So cute for Halloween. Then a pair of earrings in Black Bows. Dangly and cute, but not overbearing. Then, and lots of people love button bracelets, an Infinity Button Bracelet, with all black buttons. Love them all. To check them out, and buy them if you wish, click each highlighted link.

Black and White Full Moon Abstract Painting Art
Last week I attempted to paint the painting in the video I shared with the black and white moon setting. He used spray paint and various other methods that I have never tried. So, I used acrylics and tried my own version. After I painted the white moon and black mountains, my son said turn it upside down it still looks like mountains. Then he said paint a black moon and black stars on the upside down side. So, I did and you can see the results. This is very unique and different and I love it. I hope you do too. It is available to buy in my Etsy store. You can click the store widget at the top of this blog, to go to my store.

Black and White Painting
I love black and white paintings, pictures, jewelry you name it. I have not watched this whole video yet, but I am painting on Monday and I think I am going to give this one a shot.
