Brand new, just finished last night. I think I love the horses more than the peacocks. I did a horse in team colors last night, too. I will share that one later. This one has a Christmas theme with Poinsettia tangle doodle flowers, ribbons in green, pink and red, plus a few snowflakes. Even my new items are included in my BOGO, buy one get one free sale, so be sure to stop over to my Etsy shop, and check it out. The details are all on my store front. I have jewelry, crochet items, and art. So, something for everyone. Lots of Christmas ornaments too, which make great gifts.
Change is good! I have reopened a new Etsy Pattern store, called the Pink Flamingo. I have a ton of inventory to list, and could take a while. I am looking at some other new creative endeavors that have more to do with teaching. My kids are growing up, and it is time to expand my wings. Join me in this new creative adventure!

Football Peacock Red Black and White Abstract Art
I finally remembered to get more paint paper, so I can continue with my football team color peacocks. This is the fourth one in the series, and is Black Red and White, for say the Falcons, or any other team with those colors. These make great gift ideas, and I offer free usa shipping and a layaway service. See it in my Etsy shop.
I am still working on an angel table cloth, and the pink and purple bedroom set for a toddler girl.I am also brewing around in my brain for some beaded angels, or other cute ornaments. Maybe some nurse, that would be awesome!

Team Colors Navy Blue and Orange Peacock Abstract Zen Doodle Tangle Acrylic Painting
Here is number 3 in my team painted peacocks. If you are a Broncos fan, this is the one for you. There are other teams with these colors as well, I just don't know them by name, but I am sure you do. This is by far my favorite. I made it a little bit fancier than the other two, and I think this is the pattern I will be sticking with. This will be available in my Etsy store, to purchase, on Friday 9/11/15. All of them are currently limited edition, first editions. If they sell out, I can make more, but right now only one for each team will be done. Message me in my Etsy store for custom requests. I offer a layaway service, too.

Are You Ready For Some Football?
I love football, but mostly just the pros. My hubby watches it all, but the NFL is my preference. I also love peacocks. So, I drew out a peacock, then painted it in the colors of my beloved Buffalo Bills, red and royal blue. I will be doing one painting in each team's colors. A more feminine football painting. If you are interested in one of these, contact me through my Etsy shop, and I will do your colors next. Each will be available in my Etsy store. I also will be making redneck wedding glasses, they are so cute, and am finishing up a Fairy Queen crochet infant Halloween costume, in purple and black. Not much jewelry making, just not in the mood for it. Check out my Etsy shop for all my cool items. I offer layaway! I just sold out of the soft pink resin butterfly keychain. So, if you wanted that, it is gone. This peacock painting will be available tomorrow, 8/14 in my Etsy shop. Most renewals, and new items are listed on Friday through Sunday, so keep that in mind.

Picasso Painted Flip Flops Wear Your Art on Your Feet and A Painted Shower Curtain
This is the fourth pair of painted flip flops I have done. This pair, for whatever reason was the most difficult. I painted over the roses, didn't like them, painted over the pumpkins didn't like them, so then I decided to go for an abstract look. I love Picasso faces! They are so unique and interesting. So, I painted some Picasso inspired faces on these flip flops, and I love them. I will definitely have to do other sizes, and different face shapes. They are so interesting. These are a size small, and will be available in my Etsy shop on this Friday, August 13th.
Also, today, I finally got to paint my shower curtain. If you follow this blog, then you know back in March I painted my whole bathroom, in reds and pinks, with white flowers. Even the shower walls got painted. So, of course I wanted a new shower curtain. Sorry, but I am not spending 40 dollars on a shower curtain. So, I painted my own. Now, I have to say this is not exactly what I wanted, but it will suffice for now. I had to spread it out on the front porch, which was incredibly hot even at 11 AM. Then I had to keep it stretched with my feet, while standing on it. My neighbors must have thought I was nuts, especially since I had my bathing suit on. That was on purpose, lol. I knew I would be hot and sweaty, so when finished I got in the pool. I used acrylic paint, and sealer, and it is hanging in the bathroom right now. I attempted some flowers, but eh I didn't like them at all on the rough wood surface of the porch. Next time I attempt this, I will lie it out on the old dining room table and go in sections. It did instantly brighten up the bathroom, and it looks quite lovely in there.

Garden Angel Fairy Acrylic Abstract Painting
I decided to go ahead and list my Garden Angel Fairy, just the way it was. I looked at it again, and decided I was satisfied. She is done in acrylics, and available to purchase in my Etsy store. A lot of people ask me why I don't paint on canvas. Well, for one I don't care for canvas, and I find it exceptionally hard to keep dust and dirt free. A framed piece is so much easier to keep clean, and move around. Plus canvas is a pain, and very expensive to ship. Those are my reasons.

Patriotic Red White and Blue Roses Abstract Art Limited Edition
I finally got to paint today! Next in my Americana series, are these beautiful Red, White and Blue roses, in the color of the US flag. I so love how these came out. I think I finally found the roses I love. Rather than trying One stroke method, and various other methods of painting roses. I drew the roses out lightly, with a pencil, then painted them in. This will be how I do roses from now on. My son was born on the 4th of July, so he especially loves this. This can be purchased in my Etsy store.
I also got to start painting my next painting in my Home Sweet Home series, which is Arizona. It has been drawn out for some time. Hopefully I can finish it tomorrow. The butterfly and flower, for Arkansas, which will be next after Arizona, is exceptionally beautiful. I also have a few angels I am waiting to draw out.
My very special crochet item, for baby, should be done soon, also. Maybe this weekend. My husband has a class all day Saturday, so the kids and I will be home all day. I can get a lot done on the weekends, when we actually stay home.

Poinsettia Doodle Tangle Art Pencil Drawing Black and White
I am really pleased with how this Tangle Doodle came out. I actually had started to draw this, a few weeks ago, when I was drawing poinsettias on the wood slice. I set it aside, and forgot about it. Last week, I came across it again, and finished it. It is black and white, all done completely in pencil. Drawn on water color thick paper, because I love that paper. It is thick and sturdy. I do not like my Art tablet drawing paper. It just seems so flimsy. This Poinsettia Tangle Doodle Drawing is available in my Etsy store. I am currently working on a Tangle Doodle Turkey. Hope to have it finished very soon. I am hoping for an optical illusion look. We will see.

For My Halloween Loving Readers Hanted Houses A Witch and A Pumpkin Patch Tangle Doodle Art
My daughter and I are looking forward to Fall, and decorating for the season. Of course Halloween is in Fall. I have been working on some new items for Halloween, and Fall. The two glass bottles, are done with a Halloween theme. The witch with her cat and tangle doodle full moon, and the mast that looks deceptively like a butterfly, are both going into my garden with a solar light in them. I have two bottles left, and by request of my daughter one will have a bunny with daisies. I have not decided for the last one.
The Haunted House is done in ancient tangle flower patterns. It is actually really pretty for a haunted house. The second painting, I just finished Monday. I wanted a black and white look, with a little color. So, I painted the pumpkin patch at night, with a few critters. I have one other haunted house painting in my store. You can purchase all my Halloween paintings by visiting my Etsy Store.

Unique Elephant Head with Ancient Plants Tangle Doodle Abstract Art
The whole past month, has been super busy, culminating with our homeschool evaluations yesterday. I say ours, because I am evaluated as much as my children are. It is done now, and we all did wonderful, so now I can relax a bit, for a while, lol.
Monday is the day that I traditionally paint or draw. I have been drawing more, and I am finding I really like to draw. I did my first portrait the other day, and then painted it. I think I liked it better as a pencil drawing, but I will share that soon. The Ancient Tangle Facebook Group, posts a monthly challenge. I think this is the third one I have done using the Ancient plants. I really love the Ancient plants more than any of the other designs we have done so far. Anyway, I drew out a simple elephant head, and then lightly drew on the tangles. Then I used my paint pens to paint in the tangles. You can see the results. I am very pleased with this one. I love it as a matter of fact. You can purchase this piece of art by visiting my Etsy store. I offer free USA shipping, combined shipping and a free layaway service.

Tangled Doodle Tree Abstract Acrylic Painting
If you have visited this blog before, then you know I love trees, and painting nature. I had bought some paint pens, and I love them for the tangled pieces. Landscapes is one of my favorite things to paint. As I continue to improve technique, I also continue to improve my drawing skills. I decided to tangle the tree in this painting. This was the first time using my paint pens. It is a mixed media piece because I used pencil, acrylic paints, the paint pens and glitter paint too. This is a beautiful and unique abstract painting. You can purchase this painting, and any of my other pieces, in my Etsy store.
I will be starting to work on my next project this evening. Plus I am working on an adorable puppy, kitten, dog or cat blanket bed. I can not wait to finish it.

Upcycled Wine Bottle Into Solar Garden Light Red White and Blue with Eagle Abstract Art
Yesterday, was Memorial Day, here in the USA. A day to thank, reflect, and remember those who died serving their country. In honor of Memorial Day, two of my wine bottles were painted in a patriotic theme. This is only one bottle, two different lighting camera options.
This one was done in red, white and blue, with an Eagle painted on the flag colors. The Eagle even has a red, white and blue eye. This was not exactly how I envisioned it, but I am really pleased with how it came out. After two layers of sealant, it looks amazing out in the front garden.
I have finished three other bottles as well, but I will share them one by one in the next few days. I also painted on a Magnolia leaf today. That was awesome, and I can not wait to share it. I am still working on the baby boy crochet cocoon, and some jewelry pieces.

Pink Turtle Zentangle Abstract Art Original Painting
Now that my children, and I, are almost done with this homeschooling year, I am hoping to pick up my blogging a bit more for this blog. I mentioned a few posts ago, that I had joined a Zentangle Group on Facebook. Each week we are given a challenge to do. This one is actually from two weeks ago. You get to interpret the assignment any way you see fit. Zentangles are new to me, as is abstract art, so this is definitely challenging to me. Most tangles I have seen are done with micro pens, or pencils, I do mine with paints and brushes. This turtle has a pin motif, with flowers and other tangles on the shell and head. The ribbon edging is adorned with some flowers. I will post my one from this week, soon. If you are interested in learning the art of Zentangle here is the Facebook group. My painting is available in my Etsy store.

Black and White Full Moon Abstract Painting Art
Last week I attempted to paint the painting in the video I shared with the black and white moon setting. He used spray paint and various other methods that I have never tried. So, I used acrylics and tried my own version. After I painted the white moon and black mountains, my son said turn it upside down it still looks like mountains. Then he said paint a black moon and black stars on the upside down side. So, I did and you can see the results. This is very unique and different and I love it. I hope you do too. It is available to buy in my Etsy store. You can click the store widget at the top of this blog, to go to my store.
