Newborn Infant Warm Halloween Cocoon Costumes for Baby

I have not had time to relist, or list any new or old inventory. I did not get to paint this week, though I have two projects started. I did get to crochet some cute angel bookmarks, which are much easier than the cross bookmarks, and they will be listed in my Etsy store soon. I also have a pink and purple little girl first birthday cake in the works, that will include pull ups, instead of diapers, and a crochet skull tablecloth also in the works. You would think I would finish one project before starting another. But, I hate scrap yarn lying around, so I am finding small projects to use them up on.



If you have a newborn, or infant, then Halloween can be really cold. Some people love to dress their babies up, and take them out trick or treating. I have a whole line of baby cocoons with Halloween type themes, that will have baby looking adorable and stay nice and warm. New Baby Infant Boy Cocoon Golf Theme Brown and Green with Hat

I finally finished the infant baby boy cocoon, in a Golf theme. These are not hard to make, but they are kind of time consuming to put together, and I just have to force myself to do it. The color of this is Mocha Latte and Hunter Green. I have mentioned before that I am pom pom illiterate, so the hat actually looks like it has a golf ball up there. This would make an adorable photo prop for a baby boy born around Father's Day. Plus cocoons are warm and baby feels extremely safe inside. Luck of the Irish Infant Baby Cocoon with Hat

I just finished this new infant baby cocoon. The cocoon is Forest Green with Antique White trim. I was going to make the hat, but then I found this adorable Irish hat at the store. The hat is plastic and has a string to keep it on. This piece will be in my Etsy store, and Ecrater store,  in the next few minutes. It is for a newborn infant. I just finished some cute new painted gift bags, that I will share in the next few days.

Today, I finished the frog hat to match the cocoon I made yesterday. This is for a preemie or small newborn baby. Newborn Baby Boy Blue Green Snuggey Sleeping Blanket

I made a hot pink baby sleeping bag, and now this one for a baby boy. This yarn is lovely, and with the little hat, it is truly sweet. Your little infant boy will be warm and cozy in this sleeping bag. There are no zippers or buttons to fuss with. Just slip baby in, and watch him sleep so peaceful. Neon Pink Infant Baby Sleeping Bag Bunting

I have officially renamed my Etsy store to, Melissa's Menagerie of Stuff. Now I need to make a new banner, and I love the one I have, LOL! I think I can use the same image and just change the wording. I changed it to match my FB fan page, for two reasons. One to increase visibility in search engines, with both having the same name. Two, I don't just do jewelry and gemstones anymore. I am now painting, crocheting, counted cross stitch, and I am always looking for new things to learn. Photography is one I would love to pursue more. I have a lot to learn about editing and printing though. Just because it looks awesome on my computer doesn't mean it would look awesome elsewhere. Anyway back to this adorable neon pink baby girl tulip baby sleeping bag. I am calling them sleeping bags because that is what they remind me of. Baby can comfortably placed in the sleeper without zippers or buttons, and baby will be snuggly warm. This is a nice, heavy yarn and done in a pretty pattern. It looks like a tulip to me, with the scalloped edging, so that is what I am calling it. It comes with a matching hat. I am working on a baby boy one, and will take orders for colors in both designs, so let me know if you are interested. I have figured out how to make a leopard print dress for my daughter, for her fashion show in January, and I can't wait to start on that, and my hubby wants a Steelers blanket.
