Hot Pink and Neon Blue 3D Spider Key Chains Now In My Ebay Store

I will get to the beautiful spiders in a second. I mentioned in some previous posts, that last year I donated some of my handmade items, and the places I donated them. I have not made one of the new items to be donated, yet, so I won't share that yet. I don't have the correct color yarn. Anyway, yesterday I was going through my Facebook likes, and found tons that I have no idea why I ever started following, lol. I did find a page called SHARE. They donate stuffed animals to children who have come out of a tragic event. I messaged them to see if they accept handmade items, and they do. So, I will be sending them off some goodies. I also decided that I will be doing no more baby cocoons. Once the listings end on both Ebay and Etsy, I will be donating them to Newborns in Need. Time to move on to other things.

I really love creating with resin. It is challenging, and I have created so many pieces, with limited time to finish them, and get them listed. Taking pictures always takes the longest. I did get to sit down last night, and get together some chains, and beaded necklaces to go with some of the many pendants I made. I have so many more to do. I also got these key chains finished. I just had to add the key chain component. They were already drilled by me, and wire wrapped. I ran out of key chain components, but finally got some more. These are 3D, spiders made with resin neon blue glitter, hot pink glitter, craft wire and the key chain component. They are not super heavy, and look awesome in person. Great gift idea, for spider lovers, insect fans, boys, men, first time drivers, or my favorite gag gifts for girls afraid of spiders. LOL just kidding, well maybe. They are available for purchase in my Ebay store. You can always find my Ebay store at the bottom of this blog, or just click the link. My Etsy store link is in previous posts. Also I sell Jewelry in Candles, and that is on the sidebar. Those are nice, free jewelry in every candle.

For All You Spider Lovers Hot Pink and Neon Blue 3D Spiders

I know there are people who love spiders. I can't say I love them. I leave them alone, as long as they are not in the house. I was bitten by a Brown Recluse two years ago, so I have a respect for them that others may not. One day, while in my local Dollar Tree, I found these awesome spider molds. Of course I bought them. I made these lovely hot pink, and neon blue resin spiders. They both have had a hole drilled, and a wire wrapped bail. These could be worn as a pendant, hung on a Halloween or Christmas tree, or a keyring applied for a super cool keychain. Check them out in my Etsy store. I only have the two shown, so you will have one of a kind pieces.

My Custom Made Wedding Anniversary, Mother's Day, and Birthday Gift all in one

When I saw this ring, from Etsy seller, Stones and Gold, I just had to have it. I contacted the seller to see if they would do a layaway plan with me, and if the ring could be made in a 4 1/2. They said yes to both. So, I put it on layaway, and it just came today. I am so very pleased with this, Pink Tourmaline and Diamond ring, in white gold. I have made my own wedding bands in the past, but never diamonds. Diamonds are hard to get, grade, and buy in my opinion, plus to find a white gold setting in my size, well it would all be not worth the work to me to do it. The Pink Tourmaline has awesome color, and a perfect size for me, about 1/2 carat. The diamonds are clear and white, and sparkling. I am very pleased, and excited to show it off.

Neon Pink Infant Baby Sleeping Bag Bunting

I have officially renamed my Etsy store to, Melissa's Menagerie of Stuff. Now I need to make a new banner, and I love the one I have, LOL! I think I can use the same image and just change the wording. I changed it to match my FB fan page, for two reasons. One to increase visibility in search engines, with both having the same name. Two, I don't just do jewelry and gemstones anymore. I am now painting, crocheting, counted cross stitch, and I am always looking for new things to learn. Photography is one I would love to pursue more. I have a lot to learn about editing and printing though. Just because it looks awesome on my computer doesn't mean it would look awesome elsewhere. Anyway back to this adorable neon pink baby girl tulip baby sleeping bag. I am calling them sleeping bags because that is what they remind me of. Baby can comfortably placed in the sleeper without zippers or buttons, and baby will be snuggly warm. This is a nice, heavy yarn and done in a pretty pattern. It looks like a tulip to me, with the scalloped edging, so that is what I am calling it. It comes with a matching hat. I am working on a baby boy one, and will take orders for colors in both designs, so let me know if you are interested. I have figured out how to make a leopard print dress for my daughter, for her fashion show in January, and I can't wait to start on that, and my hubby wants a Steelers blanket. I guess I will be busy, LOL! To purchase this or place a custom order, click on my Etsy store widget at the top of this blog.

Think Pink!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and pink is all the rave. This ring is a beautiful pink tone Rhodolite Garnet cocktail style ring. This is a petite cocktail ring, for the more petite hand. Rhodolite Garnet in its finest form has a lovely pink raspberry hue to it. Rhodolite Garnet can be substituted for Pink Tourmaline as the birthstone for October. Hop on over to my Etsy store to purchase this beauty of a ring. Maybe you know a breast cancer survivor and this would make an awesome special gift for her. I offer a free layaway service too.

Hot Pink Tourmaline Ring Alternate October Birthstone

For those of you born in the month of October, but do not care for opals, you are lucky because pink tourmaline is the alternate gemstone for the month of October. This lovely sterling silver, size 6 ring, features a 3mm round hot pink tourmaline gemstone, with two 3 mm round white topaz on either side. This is a petite ring, for a petite hand. It would look awesome as a pinky ring, or even a wedding band. A sweet 16 birthday, or young girls first gemstone ring. It is available to buy in my Etsy store. I offer a free layaway plan, so be sure to ask about that. I recently had to cancel a layaway sale for non payment, so those great items will be back in my store, for others to purchase.

Kunzite From The Spodumene Family

Kunzite is a violet to pink gemstone, first found in 1902, by gemologist G.F. Kunz. Kunzite is a 6 /12 on the Mohs hardness scale, but is very brittle in its internal structure. Extreme care should be taken when setting, and wearing this gemstone. It is a pleochroic gemstone, which means it can exhibit different colors at different angles. Violet, pink, paler shades of violet, clear, and even red can be exhibited. There is a very new find of Kunzite called Patroke Kunzite that comes from Afghanistan. It is the loveliest hottest pink color I have ever seen. I do not own any, as it is very, very expensive. The Kunzite pictured is set in sterling silver, and measures 12mmx10mm, and is oval. Set in a fancy filigree design ring, size 6 1/2. It is a lovely soft lilac color. This is the only piece of Kunzite I have in my inventory. It is available for sale in my Etsy store, missy69. You can view my Etsy mini at the bottom of this blog.
