Change is good! I have reopened a new Etsy Pattern store, called the Pink Flamingo. I have a ton of inventory to list, and could take a while. I am looking at some other new creative endeavors that have more to do with teaching. My kids are growing up, and it is time to expand my wings. Join me in this new creative adventure!
As we approach Halloween, it is time to start thinking about Christmas, and other Winter holidays, especially for those who make crafts to sell. So, starting next week I will be featuring Etsy items, from Team Support and Promote, that fit those themes.
This week, I am featuring pumpkins, for obvious reasons. Each item below has a small description, and a highlighted link so you can click through to Etsy if you are interested in more info.
First from Zizzybob, is this adorable vest fabric panel with all kinds of cuteness going on.
Next from,Shelleyscrochetole is an adorable pumpkin tea towel for the kitchen or bathroom I suppose.
Last from Missy69, is this lovely acrylic pumpkin painting with Fall flowers. It is on sale!
This is a weekly link up party. I have chosen to use Polyvore as my host site to create the linky party. If you would like to be featured, click the image to go to Polyvore, read the comment section, or leave me a comment here. This is for Team Support and Promote on Etsy. I am hoping more people will be interested in this SEO opportunity. The two shops featured this week, are Missy69, and Shelleyscrochetole. You can click the highlighted links below, or you can click the item you are interested in, the links are underneath the image. That will take you to Polyvore and from there click the image to go directly to that item on Etsy. Thanks for stopping by.
I so wish I could crochet faster, lol. I am currently finishing up an infinity scarf for a friend's birthday. It will be listed as a made to order item in my Etsy shop. I love to crochet, it is my favorite thing when I want to be distracted from other things. Unfortunately Etsy is flooded with crochet items, all pretty much the same, so most of my items are now gifts, or I donate them to various charities. It is starting to get chilly, so slippers will be on my list too. One of my most favorite stitches is the shell stitch. As you can see from the three videos below, it is a very versatile stitch. I love all things lacy, so the last video is my favorite option. Don't forget to go back on this blog, to learn the other more basic stitches that you should learn before attempting harder stitches. Have questions? Please feel free to ask. If I don't know the answer, I will try to find it for you. I hope to find some new jewelry tutorials soon. I am still trying to convince myself that I love to make earrings, it isn't working. I much prefer rings, and bracelets.
This week I am featuring handmade items that are bugs or spiders. With Halloween right around the corner, spiders, and bugs are a must. Starting next week, I will featuring Fall, Autumn, Harvest and Thanksgiving themes, then Christmas after that. I have already started looking at Christmas gift ideas, so it is never too early to start. To buy any of the items featured, click the highlighted link under each image.
First from Zizzybobis this adorable quilt applique of ladybugs. Gotta love ladybugs!
Love spiders? How about a pink glitter spider?Missy69 has this 3D spider keychain done in pink resin, and glitter. On sale too!
Need a baby photo prop?Shelleyscrochetole offers this crochet spider hat to consider. I am sure she would do it in other colors too~

This week for my handmade Team Support and Promote post, on Etsy, I am featuring woodland animals specifically deer and fox. To view each item, on Etsy, click the highlighted link below each image.
