Rustic Wood Burned Wedding Picture Frame

Wedding season is upon us once again. I started wood burning picture frames, at the end of last year. I did one for Halloween, this lovely wedding keepsake frame, and one for Easter. I love woodburning, though it is still quite new to me. This would make a lovely wedding gift for anyone getting married, or even as an anniversary gift. For full details, check it out in my Etsy store.

I finally got the right white yarn, to finish my newest idea. I can't tell you what it is, you will have to wait and see. I ordered some new ring settings, and they should be here any day now. So, new jewelry items, yay! I would really love to do some new resin pieces, but until the ones I already have in inventory start to sell, that just doesn't make sense. I did not get to paint at all last week, or do anything crafty, really. But, that all changes today. I should have lots of free time to be crafty. My garden needs work too.

Fall Colors Abstract Acrylic Horse Painting

So, I had been doing peacocks, in team colors. Last week, as an Art assignment for my daughter's History class, I drew out and painted a horse in Fall colors. I am so pleased with how this came out, that I think I will do more in other colors, and abstracts. I love horses! I love all animals, but horses are so majestic, and beautiful. This painting is available in my Etsy shop. I have an adorable Tom Turkey all drawn out, but haven't found the time to paint him yet. I also have to revamp a reading chair, for my daughter, which will include a wolf painting on the chair. I hope to have that done soon, with the cooler temps here in Florida. Be sure to check out my Etsy store. It is never too early to start shopping. I offer layaway~!

Unique One Of A Kind Yellow and Black Steelers Color Painted Peacock Abstract Art

Last week I did the Bills, this week the Steelers. My husband is a die hard Steelers fan. Next will be a team that has green in it's team colors, because Peridot is the birthstone for August. My black paint pen, that I outline with, decided to die on me last night. It is much more difficult to outline with a tiny paint brush, so I kind of was not super happy with this painting. It does look stunning in the pics though. This one is yellow and black, as you can see.   I will be doing one peacock for each professional team. They are available to purchase in my Etsy shop. I do not sell prints, just my original paintings. Please remember, that I list new, and renewed items each Friday. So, this painting will not be available until August 21st. I offer free USA shipping, and a layaway service. Christmas is coming, start getting ready now. Click here to visit my Etsy shop, and check out all my awesome items.

Picasso Painted Flip Flops Wear Your Art on Your Feet and A Painted Shower Curtain

This is the fourth pair of painted flip flops I have done. This pair, for whatever reason was the most difficult. I painted over the roses, didn't like them, painted over the pumpkins didn't like them, so then I decided to go for an abstract look. I love Picasso faces! They are so unique and interesting. So, I painted some Picasso inspired faces on these flip flops, and I love them. I will definitely have to do other sizes, and different face shapes. They are so interesting. These are a size small, and will be available in my Etsy shop on this Friday, August 13th.

Also, today, I finally got to paint my shower curtain. If you follow this blog, then you know back in March I painted my whole bathroom, in reds and pinks, with white flowers. Even the shower walls got painted. So, of course I wanted a new shower curtain. Sorry, but I am not spending 40 dollars on a shower curtain. So, I painted my own. Now, I have to say this is not exactly what I wanted, but it will suffice for now. I had to spread it out on the front porch, which was incredibly hot even at 11 AM. Then I had to keep it stretched with my feet, while standing on it. My neighbors must have thought I was nuts, especially since I had my bathing suit on. That was on purpose, lol. I knew I would be hot and sweaty, so when finished I got in the pool. I used acrylic paint, and sealer, and it is hanging in the bathroom right now. I attempted some flowers, but eh I didn't like them at all on the rough wood surface of the porch. Next time I attempt this, I will lie it out on the old dining room table and go in sections. It did instantly brighten up the bathroom, and it looks quite lovely in there.

Blue Turquoise Copper Color Wire Wrapped Ring with Silver

I have been working on new wire wrapped rings, with gemstone settings. I probably have been thinking about this for several years, but could never find a method that I both enjoyed to do, and felt the stone would be secure in the setting. I finally got it! This is a size 5 copper color wire wrapped ring with a good size turquoise oval cabochon gemstone. I have several new rings done, and all are for sale in my Etsy store. If you love unique, one of a kind pieces of jewelry, check out my shop. I offer free usa shipping, and a layaway service.

Hand Painted Flip Flops Summer Sandals Pink with White Calla Lilies and Pink Roses

My newest love, is painted flip flops! Well, actually my newest love would be the wood burner I bought today, but that is for another day. I haven't even removed it from the package yet. Here in the South, everyone lives in flip flops, pretty much all year long. So, I decided to make some fancy flip flops. I have done three pairs so far, all listed in my Etsy store, and just bought another pair today, to paint. These are size 5-6 pink flip flops, with the sole painted black with White Calla Lilies and Pink rose buds. They have been sealed three times, with a durable sealer. I have a pair of my own, with sea turtles, that was the test pair, and I have been wearing them pretty much every day, with not paint wear. Check these out, and all the others, in my Etsy store. I offer free USA shipping, and a layaway service.

Garden Angel Fairy Acrylic Abstract Painting

I decided to go ahead and list my Garden Angel Fairy, just the way it was. I looked at it again, and decided I was satisfied. She is done in acrylics, and available to purchase in my Etsy store. A lot of people ask me why I don't paint on canvas. Well, for one I don't care for canvas, and I find it exceptionally hard to keep dust and dirt free. A framed piece is so much easier to keep clean, and move around. Plus canvas is a pain, and very expensive to ship. Those are my reasons.

Hot Pink and Neon Blue 3D Spider Key Chains Now In My Ebay Store

I will get to the beautiful spiders in a second. I mentioned in some previous posts, that last year I donated some of my handmade items, and the places I donated them. I have not made one of the new items to be donated, yet, so I won't share that yet. I don't have the correct color yarn. Anyway, yesterday I was going through my Facebook likes, and found tons that I have no idea why I ever started following, lol. I did find a page called SHARE. They donate stuffed animals to children who have come out of a tragic event. I messaged them to see if they accept handmade items, and they do. So, I will be sending them off some goodies. I also decided that I will be doing no more baby cocoons. Once the listings end on both Ebay and Etsy, I will be donating them to Newborns in Need. Time to move on to other things.

I really love creating with resin. It is challenging, and I have created so many pieces, with limited time to finish them, and get them listed. Taking pictures always takes the longest. I did get to sit down last night, and get together some chains, and beaded necklaces to go with some of the many pendants I made. I have so many more to do. I also got these key chains finished. I just had to add the key chain component. They were already drilled by me, and wire wrapped. I ran out of key chain components, but finally got some more. These are 3D, spiders made with resin neon blue glitter, hot pink glitter, craft wire and the key chain component. They are not super heavy, and look awesome in person. Great gift idea, for spider lovers, insect fans, boys, men, first time drivers, or my favorite gag gifts for girls afraid of spiders. LOL just kidding, well maybe. They are available for purchase in my Ebay store. You can always find my Ebay store at the bottom of this blog, or just click the link. My Etsy store link is in previous posts. Also I sell Jewelry in Candles, and that is on the sidebar. Those are nice, free jewelry in every candle.

Wire Wrapped Ring and Resin Peridot Prototype Ring

This is a prototype ring I have created. It is my second, and so far successful, attempt. I need to wear it and be sure it holds up to wear and tear before I list one for sale.

This is a clear resin round piece, with a Peridot gemstone embedded in it. Then I used lovely emerald green craft wire, to create the wire wrapped ring. Then I inserted the resin piece. I actually was going to make the ring with hot pink wire, and use it for my monthly blogger challenge, but I loved the green wire so much better. So, I stuck with that. I also have a pendant prototype, that is pink, and I won't be sharing that until I decide if I will be using it for the challenge or something else. I told myself that everything I made this month would be pink. LOL, that has not happened. I did do three pink things so far, then this green piece, and started a caramel brown baby cocoon for a baby boy. What do you think of my prototype?

Flash Sale Hand Painted Snowman Christmas Gift Bag

Yesterday, we were so busy, I didn't get to post my sale item of the day. Today, I will do it before we head to church. My sale items are always shared on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Google plus, so there are lots of ways you can follow me. Today, I have put one of my hand painted gift bags on sale. These are new to my store, but since it is Christmas, I figured I would offer a couple of them at a sale price. I always consider offers too, so remember that when browsing through either my Etsy or Ecrater store. This bag, Christmas With the Snowman Family, is only in my Etsy store. It did not make it to my Ecrater store, yet. Click the link if you are interested in purchasing. I offer a free layaway service too. I hope to get some New Years bags painted tomorrow, and a dolphin wire pendant or ornament. So, watch for that. I finished all the slippers I was making, and now am working on an interesting item, that I will share if it turns out how I hope.

Blue Christmas and Stellars Sea Eagle Art Work

Today is Art day at my house. Today the kids and I painted the Stellar Sea Eagle. The kids pictures will be posted to my homeschool blog. These ones are mine and will be available to purchase in my Etsy store. One of the Etsy teams I am on, does a treasury every week, and this week the theme is Turquoise Blue. Since I did not have any jewelry or crochet items in that color, I decided to paint a Blue Christmas gift bag. I actually had intended to do this anyways, the team treasury just hurried me up. I am hoping to have a whole line of painted gift bags, one of a kind, for Christmas giving this year. This is a one and only bag, so if you want it click on my Etsy store widget above to purchase. The Stellar Sea Eagle, is a truly beautiful and majestic bird. This is my first time attempting this bird, and actually I quite like it. I love the ice and water in the background. This piece will also be available in my store. Next Monday we are painting the Blue Jay, per Caitlin's request. Leave me some feedback in the comments. I especially would love to hear from other artists.

Two New Paintings Heart Sunset and Zebra Heat

Monday, Caitlin and I got in some painting. She started her zebra painting, third painting, but as you can see opted to finish it another day. You can see my finished zebra painting. It is very hard to paint animals, but I am slowly getting better. I find roses to be much harder than animals though, lol! The heart sunset is a very cool painting, and I am very pleased with how it came out. Both of these paintings will be available to purchase in my Etsy store, soon. Be sure and check out all my paintings, jewelry and crochet items, by clicking my Etsy store widget above.
